Nurturing Independence and Wonder in Early Preschool
At Forest Hills Presbyterian Learning Center, our Early Preschool program is designed for children who are becoming more independent, more expressive, and eager to explore the world around them. Two-year-olds are learning to make choices, follow simple directions, and interact with others in new ways. Through structured routines and engaging classroom experiences, children begin to:

- Work toward successful potty training
Each day is filled with opportunities to move, explore, create, and discover in a nurturing and supportive setting.
Purposeful, Individualized Learning
Our program uses The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that includes 38 objectives for development and learning and aligns with Hillsborough County School Readiness goals. Through careful observation, we identify each child’s strengths and areas for growth, then plan meaningful activities that support their individual progress.
Families stay connected to the learning process through:
- Monthly learning standards sent home
- Developmentally sequenced goals that build throughout the year
- Parent conferences in November and April to discuss progress and future growth
This partnership helps extend learning beyond the classroom and supports every child’s success.
