Quality Faith-Based Early Learning in Tampa

Discover Our Mission: Building Bright Futures Through Faith and Learning.

About Us

The Forest Hills Presbyterian Learning Center opened in January, 1993 as a non-profit ministry of Forest Hills Presbyterian ChurchThe mission was simple, to help families in the community! Today, our faith-based center has cared for hundreds of children and families in the Hillsborough community.

Our school features small class sizes, and our team of educators utilize The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool and Toddlers. Preschoolers benefit from a curriculum that encompasses reading readiness, math/numbers, science/nature, language development, self-help skills, social skills, physical skills, awareness of community, music, introduction to computers, and Bible stories and Music.

The preschool program is open to children ages 1 year to 5 years. VPK is offered to four year olds.

The after school program provides care to the children that attend Forest Hills Elementary. The after school program is an extension of their school day with fun and educational experiences.

We have an all day Summer Program that offers weekly themes that promote learning while having fun.

Quality Counts

We participate in the Quality Performance System (QPS) program. Our basic purpose is to provide Christ-centered care, education, and guidance for all children and families in our community. Love, learning, and laughter go together in a childcare program. We will, by our example, strive to show our students of all ages, The True and Good Way, and to provide them with successful and joyful days to reflect upon.

Security Matters

Child and staff safety is very important to us. We have code secured gates entering the property. Our parking lot, entrance ways, and playgrounds are also monitored by closed-circuit cameras.
